Greetings Teens!
I will stand by my earlier proclamation that I love snow. Many of you may be totally sick of it by now (which means that the teen program on February 22nd is perfect for you!) However, it was kind of a bummer to have two programs this week cancelled. Just as an FYI, when school is cancelled, so are library programs. We will definitely have to schedule another game night with Name 5. It's one of those games that sounds super easy but can be surprisingly challenging.
Lucky for us, there are still a lot more events happening this February. Even though you can use the handy tool at the top of the page, I'm going to put them all here for super-easy access.
Saturday, February 8th @ 12 PM - Lunch & Lit (Grades 6-8) - Registration Required
This month, we will be discussing The Lightning Thief and watching the movie after. Bring your lunch and I'll bring dessert.
Monday, February 10th @ 5:30 PM - Teen Movie Night
This month, we will be watching Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters (hmmm, a bit of a theme this month, huh?) I will be be supplying a delicious snack. This month, we will be showing the movie in the Children's department because the Friends of the Library are getting ready for their HUGE book sale. Make sure you check that out over the weekend - I saw a lot of great teen books for sale.
Wednesday, February 12th @ 6 PM - Bonus Craft Night - Valentines (Grades 6-8) - Registration Required
Make some cards and gifts to give to your BF/GF/BFF this Valentine's Day.
Thursday, February 13th @ 5 PM - Anti Valentine's Day Party - (grades 6-8) - Registration Required
Not a fan of Valentine's Day? No problem. Un-celebrate it by acknowledging famous breakups, watching a very un-romantic movie and avoiding those little candy hearts with a vengeance.
That'll get you through the next week and a half of programs. To find out about other things that are coming up, check out the events tab.
